The story
Twin Islands Top Down captures one of Hawaii's most magical and remote spots from directly above — a tiny, perfect crescent of white sand tucked between dark volcanic rock and brilliant turquoise water off the coast of Lanikai, Oahu. Traditional Hawaiian outrigger canoes are pulled up on the beach, their paddlers resting in the shade, while two more canoes cut gracefully through the deep blue water nearby. The contrast of the white sand, dark lava rock, and vivid turquoise sea creates a composition that feels both ancient and alive — a glimpse of Hawaii as it has always been.
